La sartoria del TSV per la prima volta in mostra al Teatro Verdi di Padova
Every year the Teatro Stabile del Veneto engages in different types of special projects, at a regional and national level, which also involve other entities and are aimed at the entire community. Here are the projects currently underway and some of those already completed.
An initiative promoted by the Teatro Stabile del Veneto - National Theater in collaboration with the Veneto Region, as part of the Regional Program for the promotion of the Great Events 2022, the Municipality of Venice and the Arteven Regional Multidisciplinary Circuit, to celebrate the 400 years since opening of the Goldoni Theater (1622-2022).
An unrepeatable opportunity to reflect on the relationship between Veneto and the theatre, between the territories and its multiple artistic vocations, along a path that spans 4 centuries and which finds its roots in the glorious State 'from land and sea'.
Between October 2022 and February 2024 on the big stages of Veneto at least ten new productions and co-productions signed by TSV – Teatro Nazionale and inspired by history
of the Goldoni Theatre, to the artists and authors who have inhabited it over time.
A project promoted by the Teatro Stabile del Veneto which has already reached its fifth edition. This is a theatrical training course for the High Security inmates of the "Due Palazzi" prison in Padua, held by the working group formed by Matricola Zero, Gabriele Vacis and Maria Cinzia Zanellato which starts from the work carried out during the last edition. The project concluded with a public restitution in several performances of the work done in recent months, to share the journey made with the external public, with the staging of a dramaturgy developed together with the students starting from Shakespeare's "The Tempest". .
The project, promoted by Acri, Carte Blache - Compagnia La Fortezza di Armando Punzo and supported by 11 foundations of banking origin including the Cassa di Risparmio di Padova and Rovigo Foundation, was born in 2018 and is currently active in 15 Italian prisons.
The summer festival of contemporary theater in Treviso starts again, now in its third edition. Two weeks of shows, workshops and creative, writing, performance and critical processes open to the public of all ages, a contemporary dramaturgy award, meetings with guest artists and itinerant performances that will transform the city into a widespread and open stage to everyone. A festival that overwhelms the city like a party that, by uniting artists and audiences, generates new relationships, sharing and communities.
The Veneto Region and the Teatro Stabile del Veneto, in collaboration with the Accademia Teatrale Veneta, have created the first coordinated system in the field of theater training, to cultivate emerging talents, following them step by step in a highly qualified path.
TeSeO, acronym for Teatro Scuola e Occupazione, is a model that intends to enhance the artistic vocation of younger people, through training courses dedicated to theatrical propaedeutics reserved for high school students, to then consolidate skills and knowledge in the classrooms of the Carlo Goldoni Theater Academy until guaranteeing the start of the profession with the soon-to-be-formed Youth Company. Three moments that make up a complete training cycle, to cultivate and mature talent, supporting a fragile and demanding profession, which deserves the utmost attention from a region with a strong theatrical vocation.
